Lawn weed and feed treatments
We will assess your lawn and agree on a programme of treatment to be carried out during the year to encourage a healthy and green lawn.
We will treat your lawn with fertilisers that suit the soil and the climate at the time of our visit.
We will also treat weeds when they are actively growing from April to September.
The products we use not only improve the look of the lawn, but also treat the roots to ensure that the lawn has a healthy root system, giving a strong resistance to weeds and moss.
The products we use are not available on the high street and can only be bought commercially on license
A programme usually consists of four treatments a year, spring, early summer, late summer and autumn.
But if you would prefer to try one treatment and assess the results you can. You do not have to sign up for a year’s programme.

Aeration
Aeration helps compacted lawns by loosening the subsoil and improving the root zone. It helps the lawn to breathe by letting oxygen in and carbon dioxide out. It breaks through the thatch layer allowing fertilisers and moisture to get to the roots, thus providing them with the nutrients they need to grow.

Lawn Scarification
We scarify lawns in spring and or autumn to remove excess thatch and moss. Moss appears mainly because of a lack of light and drainage.
Lawn scarification is the process of raking your lawn to remove the build-up of thatch and moss.
Thick thatch also prevents drainage and moisture can build up on the surface.
The underlying reason should be investigated whilst we are there.
Some lawns need a more sever scarification which will require overseeding.

Lawn design and turf laying
If you need to renew your lawn laying turf is the quickest option. We can remove the old lawn, design a new layout if required, carryout any necessary treatments and renew the turf.
The quality of lawn depends on you and we can lay any type required, from a play surface for your children to a luxury lawn quality finish.
